2007-2008 Creative Writing Theme:
"What It Takes To Be A Great Role Model"
Eighth graders from middle schools around Miami-Dade County are eligible to enter their essays in the Junior Orange Bowl Creative Writing Contest, co-sponsored by the South Florida Writers Association. The Creative Writing Contest begins accepting student essays in the fall. The writers of the top three winning essays will be honored by the South Florida Writers Association during their monthly meeting in January at Borders Books. The winners will have the opportunity to read their essays aloud to this prestigious group of professional writers.
